Game Rules
Objective
The objective in this game is to collect 7 different cards which ensemble all the elements that shows the interconnection between kinetic reactor design, process control and process safety.
Equipment
The equipment consists of a board, a dice, and game pieces. There are 28 chance cards, and 80 reward cards.
Preparation
Place the board on a table and put the fate and rewards card face down on their allotted spaces on board. Each player chooses one game piece to represent them while travelling around the board. Before the game started, each player will be given an ‘’aim card’’ that shows what is the element that he/she have to collect during the game.
The play
Each player must roll the dice before the game started. The player with the highest number on the dice will start first. Place your token on the corner marked ‘’Start’’, then throw the dice and move your token based on the number of spaces indicated by the dice. After you have completed your play, the turn passes to the 2nd player. The tokens remain in the spaces occupied and proceed from that point on the player’s next turn. Two or more tokens may rest on the same space at the same time.
Answer questions
When you land on a KRD, CPDIC, PSLP or rainbow space, you have to answer a question based on the space you land on. Each correct question that you answered, one reward card will be given.
For rainbow space,
a) You may choose any 2 topics that you want and answer 2 questions based on subject that you chose.
b) 2 reward cards will be given when both questions answered correctly.
The Judge
All the questions will be given by judge. Judge is the one who responsible to check whether the answer provided by the player is correct or wrong. Once a player landed on ‘’Chance’’ space, judge will read the card for the player.
Time limit
For each question, there is a time limitation based on the level of difficulty of the questions. For
Level 1 = 2 minutes
Level 2 = 4 minutes
Level 3 = 6 minutes
Level 4 = 8 minutes
Level 5 = 10 minutes
If the player unable to answer the question on time, next player will start the play and no reward card will be given.
Chance card
Once a player land on ‘’Chance’’ space, the player need to draw one card from chance card stacks. Chance card may become a game changer. It contains an ability to see other player’s aim, see card on player hand, free ticket to get out from jail, and many more.
Hand
Hand is referring to the cards in your hand. Each player only allowed to hold a maximum of 10 cards. Excessive card should be returned to the reward deck. Aim card does not included in hand card.
Jail
You land in jail when
a) Your token lands on the space marked ‘’Go to Jail’’
b) You draw a fate card marked ‘’Go to Jail’’
A player must get out of jail by
a) Using the ‘’Gate out of Jail card’’ from fate card deck or
b) Skip 1 turn
How to win?
